A Weekend Guide to Reston Town Center

A Weekend Guide to Reston Town Center

Whether you’re new to Reston or a longtime local, Reston Town Center is the perfect place to spend a weekend. With walkable streets, popular restaurants, boutique shopping, and year-round events, it’s easy to see why so many people love living nearby.

Start your Saturday with coffee from Tatte and a stroll through the Town Center before browsing shops like Anthropologie, where you’ll find stylish clothing, home décor, and unique gifts. The area also offers everything from fitness studios to bookstores (Scrawl Books is our favorite!) and seasonal pop-up events, making it easy to spend the entire afternoon exploring.

When it’s time for lunch or dinner, the dining options are endless. For tapas and outdoor dining, locals love Barcelona Reston. If you’re craving cozy comfort food, JINYA Ramen Bar - Reston is a favorite for rich broths and handmade noodles. Wine lovers should add Corsica to their list for a relaxed atmosphere and shareable plates. Popular Town Center favorites also include North Italia, Bartaco, Ted’s Bulletin, and PassionFish.

In the evening, grab a seat near the Mercury Fountain and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Throughout the year, the Town Center hosts concerts, festivals, outdoor fitness classes, and the beloved winter ice skating rink.

One of the biggest draws of Reston Town Center is its convenience. Located near the Silver Line Metro, major commuter routes, and countless nearby neighborhoods, it combines urban energy with the welcoming feel of a close-knit community.

At Marnie Schaar & Associates, we love helping clients not only find the right home, but also discover the lifestyle that comes with it. White in the town center, make sure to stop by our offices to say hello!
